The School of Architecture, Planning and Geomatics would like to invite members of the architectural and allied professions to apply for part-time tutor positions which will be available in the Bachelor of Architectural Studies (BAS) programme for the 2017 academic year. As a Technology Tutor, the successful applicant will give assistance to Technology course convenors in the conduct of Technology projects. Most contracts will involve 3 hours work per teaching week plus the examination and marking, and will follow the academic calendar, which runs from the 13 March to 14th July and for the second semester from 14th of August to 30 November 2017.

The posts are suited to architects/professionals who are either running their own practices or who are employed in architectural firms. Particular consideration will be given to applicants who have demonstrated interest to pursue post-graduate study / work or have research interest or capacity in the area of design making.
Remuneration will be negotiated dependent upon expertise.
